2 Vintage Shiwan Mudman & Woman Glazed Earthenware Figurines. Amazing details! These small figurines have had a place in bonsai as a visual contribution. They gave an appearance of size to the miniature forests. Each mudman or woman was hand painted with a low temperature lead glass glaze. The face, hands and feet were left unglazed to expose the natural color of the mud. The mud woman measures 4 3/4" T and the mudman approximately 3" T. Woman is stamped 18 and China. The man is stamped 16. The 2 figurines are in excellent condition. No chips, fleabites or scuffs. Total weight 4 oz.
